This 35 year old man has always had excess fat in his chest ever since puberty. While most of his chest enlargement was due to fat, there was also a component of firm, glandular tissue. However, this patient chose just to do liposuction, preferring to have a slightly easier recovery and to avoid a scar around the areola. As excellent as this result is, he would have been a little flatter were he to have had the glandular tissue excised in addition to fat being removed from his chest with liposuction. He had power assisted liposuction of 250cc from each side.
