Why can’t actors stick to acting and musicians focus on making music?  Why must they speak authoritatively about that which they don’t know?  What makes Cheryl Crow an authority on “Botox and stuff?”   Sure, it can look bad if overdone by an unskilled doctor.  But that shouldn’t condemn the product – or the millions of patients who look better because of it.

And does anyone want to bet that she didn’t have an hour of expert make-up by a famous make-up artist before the Health Magazine cover shoot?  Or that the photos were retouched in PhotoShop?

Why is using the spot removal brush on photoshop on a line any more legitimate than correcting the line with surgery or an injection.  In fact, I think that  retouching does more to create insecurity and unrealistic expectations of beauty and normality in our society than does plastic surgery.
