Many years before Extreme Makeover hit television, Dr. Teitelbaum had a page on his original website titled, “Mom’s Get Your Body Back.”  This concept was subsequently named the “Mommy Makeover.”  But years before this became a well known term,  Dr. Teitelbaum had seen the pattern of moms wanting to restore both their breasts and body to as close to their pre-pregnancy state as possible.

The term “Mommy Makeover” alludes to a surgical plan that addresses both the tummy and the breasts in order to reverse the changes that happened in each area during pregnancy.  Dr. Teitelbaum has taught, lectured, and published in medical journals about plastic surgery in both of these areas.

Since 1993, Dr. Teitelbaum has done various sorts of mommy makeovers for hundreds of women, restoring their bodies to as close to their pre-pregnancy condition as modern medicine allows—and oftentimes making their bodies better than they were even before their pregnancies.
