Every patient considering a facelift should also be evaluated for a brow lift. Many would not benefit from a brow lift, and others may benefit but would not want to undergo a brow lift. A facelift only makes an improvement from the cheeks down to the neck; and an eyelift improves either or both of the upper or lower eyelids. But if the brows are low, horizontal, or there is skin beyond the end of the eyelids, then it is likely that the patient would benefit from a brow lift. In these cases, a facelift can be done without a brow lift, but there can be disharmony when the face looks younger than the forehead and eyes.
